We have published a new video on our YouTube channel demonstrating how the XC Respirometer simplifies biodegradation testing in seawater, freshwater, and sediment.

In the video, six reactors are prepared and continuously stirred to recreate natural aquatic conditions. After introducing the test substance, the XC Respirometer automatically monitors the process, providing continuous CO₂ measurements that clearly show how quickly a material biodegrades — all the way to completion. 

This approach offers a simple, reliable, and reproducible way to assess environmental impact and compare the biodegradability of different materials under realistic aquatic conditions.
